Simon Birch

Simon has spent his career working in Special Education.

Ten years as Teacher in Charge of a Children’s Assessment Unit with the other twenty years in Residential School and Local Authority Special Schools.


Presently Deputy Head of Longford Park; an SEBD Primary and PRU in Trafford. The school was Pupil Premium School of The Year 2013 and shortlisted as Special School of The Year 2014.


Simon has worked as a consultant specialising on behaviour, presented at National and International Conferences and chaired at the School Leaders Forum at the 2014 Education Show.
