Teresa Cremin

Teresa Cremin is a Professor of Education (Literacy) at The Open University.

A Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and the English Association, Teresa is also a Trustee of the UKLA and the Society for Educational Studies, a Board Member of Booktrust, a member of the ESRC Peer Review College, and joint coordinator of BERA‘s Special Interest Group on Creativity. She is a previous president of the UKLA and UKRA.

Teresa has written and edited over 25 books and numerous papers/ professional texts, her latest: Building Engaged Communities of Readers: Reading for Pleasure , (Routledge, 2014) and Building Communities: Researching Literacy Lives (Routledge, 2015).
